Who we are
This website and the Reflectio EM waitlist are run by Brightwell Medical Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17197913, and registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office under reference ZC240048. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

Visiting this website
This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising or tracking tools. Its fonts and images are served from our own site, so visiting does not send your details to anyone else.
Our host, Cloudflare, handles the technical information every website receives, such as your IP address, to deliver the page and protect it from attack. We do not use this to identify you and we do not keep our own logs of it.
The Reflectio EM waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we keep:
- your email address
- which waitlist you joined
- the wording you agreed to when you joined
- the date and time you joined
We do not record your IP address or anything about your device.
We use your address only to email you about Reflectio EM’s launch. Our lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, after which we delete your address.
The list is stored in a Cloudflare database located in Western Europe. We keep your address until you ask us to remove it, or until twelve months after Reflectio EM opens to the public, whichever comes first.
When you email us
If you email us, we use your message and address to reply and to keep a record of our conversation. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f)). Our email is provided by Apple through iCloud Mail. We keep correspondence only as long as we need it for the matter you wrote about.
Who handles your data for us
Two companies process data on our behalf: Cloudflare, which hosts this site and the waitlist database, and Apple, which provides our email. Each acts only on our instructions. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
These providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to have it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your waitlist address, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
